These photos were taken in Lichtenberg, Berlin, 2005, in relation to the project "URBAN CIRCULATIONS (STÄDTISCHE ZIRKULATIONEN)" there was situated in the area.
The buildings on the images were constructed in the time where Germany was divided in "East" and "West".
Many of the buildings in the area are now renovated with a new kind of materials.
New economies have come to the area. A huge import of objects produced in China is based and sold for low prices in the area.
